Climate Finance Methods does not use an advertising network, user account system, comment system, or portfolio-wide analytics identifier.
The server can create standard access and security logs. These can include an IP address, requested path, time, response code, browser identifier, and referring page. The logs are used to operate and protect the site, including rate limiting and review of abusive requests. They are not published.
The contact route collects the name, email address, research route, optional page URL, and evidence note that a sender provides. The message stays on this site’s own server and is used for editorial review and a possible reply. Contact records are deleted after 90 days. The contact record does not include an IP address or browser identifier. Use the contact route and select “Privacy request” to request earlier deletion. External primary sources have their own privacy terms.
