Climate Finance Methods

About Climate Finance Methods

Scope, independence, and editorial purpose.

Climate Finance Methods is an independent publication about research design in climate finance. It is for graduate students, analysts, policy researchers, investors, and other readers who want to understand how a result changes when its data, scenario, boundary, or assumption changes.

The publication does not award a degree, provide a course, represent a university, or give personalized investment advice. It does not rate securities, funds, companies, or people.

Independent identity

This publication is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of the former course, its teachers, its organizers, or any university connected with earlier use of climatefinancephd.org. It does not claim their work, staff, students, research, history, logo, materials, or institutional standing.

The domain’s limited archived history concerned a doctoral climate-finance course. This new publication stays within the broad subject of climate-finance research, but it uses a separate name, purpose, design, and editorial method. No archived lesson, biography, image, or course claim has been copied.

What we publish

Each note begins with a research question. It identifies the unit of analysis, time horizon, system boundary, evidence source, main assumption, and uncertainty that can change the answer. A note is useful only if a reader can apply its method without buying a product or visiting another portfolio site.
